Crafting 2020 – Macrame
Awhile ago I bought a macrame kit from Aldi. I found it a week or so ago (while looking for something else) and thought the time had come to make these. I haven’t done any macrame since I made a plant holder (out of horrible nylon string) at school in London, so that must have been almost 40 years ago.
I was pleased with the key ring but haven’t got the tension right for the wall hanging. With crochet once you have finished you are supposed to block the item, I am wondering if there is a similar process in macrame which will help it lie flat. Google here I come.
Crafting 2020 – Two new tops.
More dressing making in lockdown. I am especially pleased with the white one. I have made the same pattern several times (a long time ago) but when I came to look in the plastic wallet the pattern in filed only the front pattern piece was present – so I had to recreate it using the Simplicity back from the peacock top and a bit fudging. Seemed to have worked okay,
Crafting 2020 – Magazine Freebies

I had built up a small pile of the freebie projects that sometimes comes with them and they needed a sort out. Some went into the craft stash and all the others I sat down and made.
Crafting 2020 – A Preaching Scarf.
Over the years, I have made a number of preaching scarfs and stoles, but I have never made one for me……until now.
I am not sure where or when…or even if….I’ll ever wear it, but if I ever need one, I have one.
